Shoop

Invisible Theatre, Sankt Peterburg, Russia

Director Semen Serzin

A subject based on a real story of modern slavery, a swing between our life wrapped in an illusion of safety and comfort, to a parallel world made of slaves that make our way of life comfortable. The minimalist stage language creates a face-to-face dialogue with the public, sometimes disconcerting with the simplicity of intonation in recounting atrocities that for many are everyday moments of their existence.
