Erdman’s text was written in 1928, but still today surprises in its current themes, with cutting humor that leads the viewer to laugh but at the same time reflect on human nature and its paradoxes. In our show we tried to be faithful to Erdman’s atmosphere, with elements a la Gogol, as Stanislavskij said “Erdmana is the Gogol of the 20th century”.
